Benvenuti!
My name is Kate and I'm glad you're here. I started blogging during my freshman year of high school. I was living in Manila at the time, the longest stop of my nomadic childhood. I returned to Virginia in May 2016 to begin the next part of my journey: college. After graduating from William & Mary with my BA in English Literature, I spent two years teaching 9th grade ELA in New York City.
These days, I've recently published my Master's thesis and continue to explore Richmond with my tiny partner in crime—my cat, Gravel (aka Gravy, aka Gravy Boat). I love to read, do yoga, knit, go camping, ride my bike, and I am on a perpetual quest to discover the very best french fries in the world. (This place's fries—extra sexy sauce please—are currently ranked #1.) In 2024, I wrote about my experience living with narcolepsy.
I have always believed that we are not meant to walk through this life alone and that is what I aim to celebrate here. Thank you for walking with me.
